Bored Writing Blog Content? Freelance Copywriters Can Help

Bored WritingFor those webmasters who are trying to put their fingers in all sorts of pies (pies being internet niche blogs), the onset of writer’s exhaustion with the task at hand is inevitable. While each blog post may not take up much time individually, the act of maintaining several or even dozens of blogs will ultimately become a burden too big for one person to handle. In the quest of expanding their reach and ultimately profit, many blog owners are outsourcing some of their work to freelance copywriters who can provide a valuable asset for a low cost. We will outline some of the main aspects of working with freelance copywriters and what to expect for your ventures.

Inexpensive Services

For most bloggers who operate numerous blogs, the act of making money is an uneven one: there will be some blogs that earn a large amount of revenue, while others will only draw in a modest sum. When looking at your projects from an all-encompassing perspective, however, copywriting is affordable for all blogs and the losses on some sites can be hedged by the profitability of others’ if in fact you are operating multiple blogs at once. A blog that needs a new post every week can be fully written by a copywriter for anywhere between $10-50 per month, depending on the skill of the writer, the amount of content needed and the complexity of the topics. Daily updates can be secured – generally with a modest discount – for just a couple of hundred dollars per month.

Quick Turnaround

In most cases, the level of competition in the copywriting community is vast, as is the number of individuals seeking services. Generally speaking, copywriters can arrange an expedient turnaround time depending on your needs. If you have your articles scheduled for the same time each day, week or month, then this is not an issue. The best part of working with freelance copywriters is your ability to pick and choose, working with multiple writers if necessary. By keeping a diversified set of freelance copywriters at your disposal, you can surely find at least one copywriter who can deliver when faced with a short deadline.

More Than Content

In the case of many freelance copywriters, the skill to not only write content but optimize it for search engines is needed. As a blogger, you are already probably aware of how variables such as keywords can impact your search rankings and performance (Pingler’s Keyword Density Checker can make sure you are on the right path). Most freelance copywriters possess the ability to ensure that your blog content is optimized with any provided keywords while maintaining a high level of quality. The cheaper the services, the less desirable the outcome, but most bloggers will report that a decently written article with basic optimization can be procured for under $10. This makes the idea of having content written for your blogs much more valuable and will hopefully convince you of the benefit that freelance copywriters can end up adding to your blogging network.

Are you crazy? COPYWRITERS ARE NOT ARTICLE WRITERS.

That’s one of the rare times I’ve pulled out the “all caps” because copywriters (and I’m one of them) will find this article enormously misguided.

To put it more bluntly: Copywriters write sales copy. That’s what they do. They do not write blog posts and if anyone says they do, they’re wrong. If someone wants to say they’re a copywriter and also an article writer, no problem. One can do both.

But to clarify the roles: Copywriters write direct sales letter for campaigns, web copy to generate leads and produce sales, and marketing collateral such as brochures, press releases, and marketing slicks — all to SELL a company’s product or services.

    Copywriting is NOT article writing.

Maybe if you had more thank one site or if your main site was just too much to handle. I still think that people can see the passion in your own words for the topics you talk about even with the degree in English.

Readers can feel your personality more from your own copy and that’s the purpose of a blog or website today.

I get copy writers in for back linking on other sites like article submissions / squidoo / hubpages but all of the content on my own site is mine.

I have a blog which earns me $100/month without much effort. Don’t know if it’s a good idea to have freelance writers for that. The earning is not high but I don’t need to do much.

If you can write some articles about this as to whether when it’s a good time to have freelance writers, it would be of great help.

    Thanks,
