Do you offer any guarantees?

Since search engines and the various ping resources are not within our own control we cannot guarantee their response. We have so far delivered impressive results to our thousands of clients.

I just added some links to my account, when will they be pinged? Will I have to ...

When you add links to your account, they will be pinged on the same day within 12 hours and every three days thereafter if the links remain in your account.

The reason why pings are not carried out immediately is because we employ a queue system to benefit all our members equally wihtout exhausting resources on our server.

Is it possible to be over-pinging?

By default some platforms such as Wordpress include their own ping facility, where every post you make is automatically pinged to various resources.

We advise our members and customers to switch off the standard or default ping settings on Wordpress or other platforms when using our Pingler service. This also true when it comes to using other ping services at the same time as Pingler.com

We cannot comment on how the ping resources will react to 'over-pinging' but we strongly suggest that you refrain from pinging using other services along side to Pingler to avoid any detremental situation as a consequence. Besides, our premium members, enjoy an exclusive ping list that is far larger in size than other ping services.

Pinging static vs dynamic sites

Search engines always prefer fresh and updated unique content. Dynamic sites produce the best results, however on the other hand regular pinging will also help increase your backlinks and help drive organic traffic through. We ping our entire portfolio of static websites every three days and we have so far enjoyed results that far outweigh not pinging them at all.

What is the API key used for?

The API key is used in our browser add-ons or Wordpress plugin and it allows you to connect from your website to your account at Pingler.com This way, when you ping a URL it gets added into your account seamlessly and securely.

Login to your account and in the menu, click on MANAGE ACCOUNT and then choose ACCOUNT SETTINGS. Scroll all the way down on the ACCOUNT SETTINGS page and you will see the link Wordpress Plugin Key and you can regenerate the key if you need to.

Why does my account status show as 'Paused'

When you register with us, your account will show the status as 'paused' and that is for the premium services and features only. You can still ping up to five free pings a day but if you wish to use any of our premium features, you will need to subscribe to any of our packages and then your account will show 'Active' as opposed to 'Paused'

Wordpress offers a ping feature but our service is not limited to Wordpress sites but all websites, regardless of the platform.

Premium subscribers get pinged to a much larger rotating list of ping RPC servers - many that are unique to Pingler.com

We advise our customers to disable Wordpress ping feature when using our Pingler Plugin.
